Back in/around 2005, REO (Rockman.EXE Online) ran a karaoke contest, and people were to send in recordings of themselves singing to EXE themesongs. I sent in a track of myself singing with "Kaze Wo Tsukinukete", the first theme. I didn't win (by any means XD ) and was critiqued on the fact that my singing didn't seem spirited enough (the song is very upbeat).

Back then I was shy as fuck, and a little mic-shy. I wonder though, as I sit here singing with Kaze Wo now (and am impressed I still remember it all, for it being Japanese), in a time when I am more open (RL or otherwise) and better at trying new things, and better at being asked to "perform"...

If I made a recording of myself singing the song now, would I do any better in the same contest?

...

Except for my singing itself. I'm still tone-deaf. XDXD (Self-proclaimed)

Doing a little Random Deviant clicking earlier landed me on a few pages with photographs, which just makes me think of my own camera, and the photos I keep saying I'll upload but haven't yet. Like the ones from Animazement. Or similar ones to June Sunrise.

Oh well. Maybe someday XD

Anyway, with any luck I'll be able to work on some general art, some art trades, and heck maybe even "Brother" later tonight. I can feel the drawing urge building, I just have to direct it in the right... err, direction.


Random note, a scar I got on my finger back in March has been itchy as hell lately x_X

So yeah. If you haven't noticed by now, I've finally put the To-Do list into it's own journal XDXD I added a few new things (notably a Manga section) and cleaned it up a little, too. With any luck, I'll be able to keep it up to date a little easier now.


Oh! I had a nice find the other day A manga version of the Pokemon movie Rise of Darkrai, done by Ryo Takamisaki. That is, done by the same guy who did the EXE manga~ It looks awesome too XD I love it.

(Speaking of Pokemon, I do have my Deoxys I mentioned in the last entry. Sucks that I can't rename it (OT is listed as "Gamestp" XD ) but oh well. And he... keeps fainting, but I think that's because I suck and can't keep track of what Pokemon can know Crunch. Whoops.)


Aaaaaahhhh I have work toniiiiiight I don't wanna goooooo.


Lastly, I have an open plead call to any who might be interested in joining an LJ RP: For those who don't know, I'm a member of DramaDramaDuck, a multi-fandom RP. Right now I play Giro from Megaman ZX, Bass from Classic Megaman, Astro Boy (heh), and Megaman.EXE from the EXE manga. And the thing is... Well...
I NEED CANON MATES.
Anyone interested in apping people from any of those canons? XD;; In particular, Mega needs a Lan... (I'm looking at you, ~AudioErf *snickers*) So yeah. Canon mates please. XDXD
